What are biodiversity credits?
Biodiversity credits are designed to fund biodiversity conservation projects that deliver UN Sustainable Development Goals (UN-SDGs).
Each credit represents a unit of verified biodiversity outcomes that has already been delivered by Sanctuary Mountain Maungatautari. This means that they represent a no-risk opportunity for buyers as the work has already been done, audited, verified and is now ready for sale.
The credits are priced at the true cost to deliver those conservation benefits and are a new way for organsations to help solve the global biodiversity crisis.
Individuals and organisations can support Sanctuary Mountain Maungatautari's biodiversity conservation efforts by buying credits that can be used as part of an organisation's Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) reporting and Nature-Based Financial Disclosure (TNFD) reporting.
